We have extensive expertise in construction claims, as well as forensic delay analysis services in the pursuit of dispute resolution.
Adam Hignett LLM MICE MCIArb – Director
Adam is the Director of LPS Consulting. He has over 16 years of experience in project delivery with a background in project planning of major and complex civil engineering and building projects.
Having worked for a number of tier one contractors in both the UK and New Zealand, he then moved into claims consulting in order to utilise his extensive knowledge and experience in the pursuit of dispute resolution. These skills have been utilised on a number of large commercial claims and disputes in Australasia and the Middle East. Adam has also been appointed as an Expert Witness in matters of delay.
Adam takes the central role in LPS Consulting, assisting contractors and clients in a number of varied roles which include:

Preparation and management of tender and contract programmes;

Implementation of project control processes;

Peer reviews of extension of time claims;

Delay analysis as part of the production or defence of time-related claims; and

Expert reports for delay claims as part of dispute proceedings.
Adam’s main aim is to increase the standard and application of effective programme and project controls in the construction industry, building strong relationships with contractors throughout New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
